This year I am so excited to once again be teaching 7th grade Texas History and greatly anticipate an awesome year in 8th Grade U.S. History which has been one of my other favorite subjects to teach.  I LOVE these subjects and my students! Below you will find important email info and links to important items to make this a most successful year for your student.  As always, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.      

• Assignments and due dates will be listed in Google Classroom this year.  I have diligently had your student connect to Google Classroom on their arrival to class this year, so they are set and ready to go. Please check GOOGLE Classroom for all assignments and due dates! If you want me to invite you to the Google Classroom, please email me.

 

•  I am available every morning of the week except Wednesday (a.m. duty) in Wisdom Wing Room 407 between 7:45-8:15 a.m. to answer questions or for students to use textbooks or complete assignments.

 

• 7th Grade Texas and Texans textbook is available for download by entire book. or by chapter (ACA website>Grade Level and Staff>Social Studies) Scroll down on the Social Studies Homepage and you will see it with a PDF link as well). I have attached it here as well: Texas and Texans Textbook (SLOW, SLOW download).WARNING:  Patience required.  This is a huge file with over 700 pages so it may take up to 20 minutes to download.  Students are always welcome and recommended to bring a flash drive to school and I will upload a copy of the textbook for them.  7th Grade assignments and powerpoints are available on Google Classroom.

 

• 8th Grade The American Republic assignments and powerpoints will be available on Google Classroom.
