    Welcome to 8th Grade Algebra I Pre-AP, 2023-2024!  

     

    I am excited to start my 22nd year teaching high school mathematics and 9th year at ACA!  I am married with two young daughters who both attend ACA.  We have two dogs and a grumpy cat.  I grew up right down the road from our campus, and I attended Martin High School before moving on to UT Austin.  I majored in Math, minored in French, played clarinet in the Longhorn Band, and participated in the UTEACH program.  I love working with young students on the brink of their college careers and making sure they receive a rigorous foundation in Algebra that will serve them well for future math classes.  Please email me any time with questions or concerns...or positive affirmations!!!  Go Griffins!

    Some materials from class will be posted on Google Classroom.  Students will be automatically enrolled to my GC when school begins; they must check their email for confirmation!
     
    CPM eBook available for every student (online textbook).  Students will use the same login from last year.
    If a student needs a book at home, please email me that request; I will place one at the front office for pick up.
