How grateful I am to be back in the classroom this year!  I do not take this for granted.  It is my hope that you will come to love history as I do, whether you are in one of my 7th Grade Texas History classes or in my 8th Grade U.S. History class.  This is going to be an awesome year to be back together again, to learn from, and with each other, and to challenge each other to be the best we can be!  We are planning for an awesome 7th Grade Austin/San Antonio field trip this spring so stay tuned for details in the near future. Below you will find important info to make this a most successful year as we partner together in the education of your student.  Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  

   

• GOOGLE CLASSROOM is my PRIMARY source of communication of assignments and materials with your student.  I can invite you as a parent, but you will only see a summary of assignments.  You MUST have your student log in, to see if they have completed their assignments.  Just marking "TURNED IN" does not mean the assignment was actually completed.  I will have diligently had your student connect to Google Classroom on their arrival to class this year, so they are set and ready to go. Please check GOOGLE Classroom for all assignments and due dates! If you want me to invite you to the Google Classroom, please email me.

 

• REMIND-Although I have the availability of REMIND, I will only use it for EXTRAORDINARY communication (field trip, etc.)  GOOGLE CLASSROOM will remain my go to for communication with your student.
